ACENZ Silver Award · 2013
Geothermal steam-to-clean-steam project for Ngāti Tūwharetoa Geothermal Assets: clean steam supply to the Kawerau tissue mill and neighbouring plants, from a geothermal source. ACENZ Silver Award, 2013.

ACENZ Gold Award · 2007
Direct geothermal heat plant supplying industrial process heat in the central North Island, built for Contact Energy and Tenon. The first heat-exchange plant in New Zealand to take heat from both the liquid and steam phases of the geothermal fluid. ACENZ Gold Award, 2007. The judges cited "great technical skill, true innovation and excellent service".

A 13 MW electrode boiler supplying the OCD Awarua dairy spray-drying plant. Won by Open Country Dairy, NZ Energy Excellence Awards 2021: Large Energy User Initiative of the Year. Dobbie was part of the delivery team.
